My previous work experiences have thoroughly prepared me for a Virtual Assistant role, particularly in communication, coordination, and administrative support. As a Human Resource Specialist in the BPO industry, I gained extensive experience across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and client-facing communication. This role strengthened my ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and manage administrative processes efficiently in a fast-paced environment. I also served with the Department of the Interior and Local Government, deployed at the City Health Office Tuguegarao as a Contact Tracer and Swabber for two years during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this role, I conducted intake interviews, facilitated telehealth coordination, monitored close contacts, and assisted in RT-PCR testing and post-mortem procedures. This experience enhanced my skills in remote communication, data tracking, scheduling, and handling sensitive information with professionalism and empathy. Additionally, I worked as a Senior Human Resource Assistant at Cagayan United Doctors Medical Center of Tuguegarao City, Inc., where I managed end-to-end HR processes such as recruitment and selection, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll, 201 file management, compensation and benefits, policy implementation, and employee relations. This role strengthened my organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple administrative systems. Currently, I am a University Instructor at University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, where I handle 200–300 students per semester. I conduct both in-person and online classes, develop instructional materials, and prepare structured lesson plans. In addition, I provide telepsychotherapy and counseling support to students, offering guidance through virtual platforms. This has further enhanced my skills in active listening, emotional intelligence, client support, and maintaining professionalism in remote interactions.
